I knew what I wanted in a wedding venue and Heskin Hall certainly fitted the bill. Quirky yet romantic with lots of interesting features - how often do you find a gorgeous Tudor wedding venue that's also an antique shop?

Lynne has the art of vintage weddings down to a tee. From the antique cups and saucers to beautiful cake stands, everything was perfect. And as I was organising my wedding from abroad, I found Lynne's support and unfailing advice invaluable. Nothing was set in stone, from the menu to the day's events we had planned. We really wanted fish and chips and old-fashioned cakes for our meal and the chef ensured the dish was perfect - even chatting to us about the potatoes he would use for the perfect chip!

Many thanks to all at Heskin Hall for a day we'll remember fondly forever.

What a wonderful place for a wedding celebration. Everything ran like clockwork. The staff were superb and made everything look so easy, and all of them were so polite and helpful.

the facilities for disabled were first class, with everything in just the right places for easy use.

We had a great time for Leanne and Greg's celebration on Friday 4th May, and thanks to you all at Pangdean for looking after us so well.

A very big thank you to Lynne and her team at Heskin Hall for making our daughter and son in laws wedding day 13/4/12 so special.A fabulous venue made all the more memorable by the vintage surroundings and the warm support we received.As the couple live abroad and only arrived in the uk a few days before the ceromany this was particularly impressive.I smiled all day, along with everyone else and kept being told how different this was to the usual "conveyor belt" nuptuals - even the registrar was smiling. Warm, fun and different - particularly the vintage cup and saucer quizz! Many,many thanks.

My son and his lovely new wife have just had their wedding at Sundridge Park manor Hotel.
The day went like an absolute dream and we could not honestly fault a single thing. My daughter-in-law had complete faith and confidence in the wedding co-ordinator, Maggie and everything went perfectly. When you plan a dream wedding since you were a little girl and have the wedding of your dreams, there is not much more to be said! This is certainly what happened to our family and we cannot thank the staff at the Sundridge Park Manor Hotel for making this a truly magical day.
I will also add that apart from the professional organisation of the whole day - the food was delicious and hot and very well presented.
I would highly recommend this venue.

my daughter was married on the 14th April 2012 here in the Barony,the day was so organised by the staff the day ran like clockwork,the food was absolutely superb,i would have no hesitation in recomending the Barony as a wedding venue to anyone,once again Barony thank you very much for a fantastic day,Tom Kerridge,father of the Bride.

We recently has a school fundraising Dinner Dance @ Russets. The venue was perfect for cocktails, dinner for 90-200 and then crazy dancing on a spacious especially laid dancefloor. You can also hang around the bar and watch others or chat and even the terrace was being used in March as the festive burners were on and the garden beautifully lit. Kate and Tim and other staff were very relaxed and most helpful in the buildup and on the night itself and everybody had a great evening with delicious food. I can highly recommend this venue. My new wife and I have recently had our wedding at Chewton Place (Jan28th 2012), Rebecca and the Chewton place staff were superb in giving us the best day of our lives. The venue is superb with beautiful grounds and stunning open fires during a cold winters evening, the waiting staff and food were excellent and I want to sing their praise from the roof tops. We couldn't of asked for a better day, from start to finish was amazing and stress free thanks to Rebecca and her experience. Thank you so much to everyone at Chewton Place....Andy and Anna

We had our wedding at Notley Abbey in January 2008 and I can honestly say the venue, service and food were faultless (and we are quite fussy and did spend ages looking for the perfect venue!). Cannot recommend it highly enough. we hired a baby grand and pianist to accompany the wedding breakfat which was brilliant, but since then I think they have bought an 'in-house' auto-piano which would make life a bit simpler! Really hope we can have our 25th anniversay party at Notley!

I had my wedding here yesterday (19th February 2012) and I cannot praise Chewton Place and the staff there highly enough - they made the 'happiest day of my life' into a beautiful reality. I arrived there at 09:30 with my mother and the signage was already up for the wedding, and the entrance looked spotless with lovely discreet decor additions to blend and complement the colours I had chosen (ready for the florists' touch) and was immediately shown to the Bridal Suite where I would be getting ready. My hairdresser and make-up artist were close on my heels closely followed by the bridesmaids. Rebecca was cheerful and optimistic, giving me clear information on the days' procedure and letting me know that all I needed to do was ask if there was anything to be done, and regularly checking with me to make sure I had all I needed. The staff quickly brought up some extra chairs for the bridesmaids and my mother and the morning passed in a swirl of make-up brushes and hairspray with plenty of tea and coffee in the room to go round for those not drinking Bucks Fizz! The room was beautiful and spacious and the Georgian sash windows let in the glorious pale sunshine making sure we were all perfectly made-up and coiffed! We had a civil ceremony in the River Room, and Rebecca and the team had it set up to perfection. Rebecca had also made sure during the few days prior that the music system would play at the right volume, and got the timings down like clockwork. The drinks and canapés were served by friendly, happy staff who made sure everyone was served, but were not obvious. I must also say - the groom is a Coeliac sufferer and so cannot have ANY gluten in his diet - all the canapés were gluten free to avoid cross contamination on serving platters and were delicious with plenty to go around! While the guests happily munched and sipped and photographs were taken, the staff changed the River Room layout and set it up for the Wedding Breakfast. When we entered, the tables were laid out with attention to detail down to the ribbons tied around the napkins and the scatter crystals on the tables. Rebecca acted as Maitre'd throughout the meal which was delicious. It was served efficiently and attentively and again, the chef had made sure that Adam had gluten free Yorkshire puddings and gravy.....and bread....and profiteroles! The staff always made sure our guests glasses were topped up.Throughout the entire day, everyone at Chewton Place kept asking to make sure we had everything we needed, and if they could do anything else for us. The staff were all courteous and friendly. We had one guest who, when they went to their room found a light bulb did not work.....which was replaced in about 5 seconds flat! I cannot say how grateful we are to Rebecca, Terry, the Chef and all the staff at Chewton Place for making our Wedding Day absolutely perfect. I will try and post some photo's when we get them to show how truly wonderful they made things for us.There is not a single negative thing that happened during our time there but I had the utmost confidence that if something had happened, it would have been dealt with and sorted out before we would have even noticed.Considering we were one of the couples who had originally booked through the now defunct Aspire Venues we are so glad Rebecca and the team managed to pull a new business together in order that couples like us could still have a wedding at such a beautiful location. Fantastic venue. I had my reception there in June 2011 and it was perfect in every way. Great staff, lovely venue, marquee was perfect and had so many comments about how lovely the food and everything was. Would highly recommend Brickendonbury.

We held my Daughter Emma & Dusans wedding here> It was an amazing day and Rothley court really excelled, the venue was perfect, the service was incredible and the food for both the wedding breakfast and evening buffet was top class. Got married in the Crowne Plaza Liverpool John Lennon in November 2011 I could not of asked for anything better the day was amazing, Peter the wedding co ordinator really listens to what a bride wants and had so much patience with us, the day it's self was amazing jannine and Stephen really worked hard and are guests commented how good the food was, I would recommend this hotel to any couple not just because the art deco style but mainly because how we and are guests were treated by pete the reception team and all the staff, a huge thank you

The Crown is quite homey for a pub... the atmosphere exuded by the furnishings is definitely family-friendly. The private balconies sound like a good place to set up casual meetings outside of office.

I would definately recomend East Sussex National Golf Club as a fantastic venue for a wedding, the setting is beautiful, the staff especially Laila the wedding co-ordinator cannot do enough for you when planning your day and during your day, the food was delicious, the atmosphere calm and relaxed all all there is for the wedding party to do is have a brilliant and memorable day.
